EXPERIENCE
The majority of Rick’s work experience has been in multi-family and mixed use architecture. His projects span the various scales and typologies of this specialized sector of design from large urban infill sites to less dense suburban garden style projects primarily in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states. He believes that each project is unique and should respond to the context and history of the communities in which they are to be built. He is also an advocate for incorporating technology into the practice of architecture to improve design and coordination to provide the best possible product for our clients. Rick is a member of the AIA and sits on the Architectural Review Board for the town of Cornelius, NC where he resides with his wife and two daughters. As a Senior Associate, in addition to managing projects and participating in the schematic design phase, he manages the IT infrastructure & assets and digital operations of the design and production staff (he plugs in the computers and makes sure that they work right…).
