Institutional Centers Because our team’s design expertise is deeply rooted in the construction of multi-family residences, we have developed an inherent understanding of how occupants engage with the spaces we create. Our unique insight into user needs, preferences and behavioral patterns has extended the design services we provide to include academic environments that foster learning and account for flexibility in a structure’s program over time. The Housing studio has used interior detailing and architectural design features to engage light, color and spatial scales – factors that have been found to directly influence components of teaching and methods of learning in educational facilities. |
